Renewed Jewel
Renewed Jewel is a new brand here at Krombholz Jewelers. Though it is a new name, we have been creating and selling “Renewed Jewels” since our beginning in 1940. There are three components to this new line, encompassing estate pieces, our award winning custom design, and consideration for our jewelry’s global and ecological impact.
Renewed Jewel includes our estate jewelry. We have been expert in this area of business for our entire history. The appreciation of fine antique and estate jewelry has been at the core of each of the three generations of Krombholz.
Renewed Jewel also encompasses the jewelry that we create for our customers. Using parts of their old jewelry that are no longer in their “style” or gemstones that are worn or broken, we work to design new and exciting jewelry. Within our designing team, we continue to embrace the cutting edge of technology; these advancements have helped this process of recreating jewelry become faster, less costly, and more satisfying for all involved.
Finally, Renewed Jewel is also about recycling and ecology. The processes used to mine precious metals and gemstones can be detrimental to our earth and its atmosphere. We are encouraging the recycling of existing metals and jewels to make new jewelry. This includes the buying of jewelry that is worn out, broken, or out of style and refining the metal, recutting the gemstones and reusing these components in new custom designs. We utilize our award winning design team in this process to make very exciting, personal and beautiful jewelry.
Finally, Renewed Jewel includes our buying and selling of antique diamonds and gemstones. This niche of business is new and exciting, as it helps to support the expansion of the Renewed Jewel brand’s offerings. We have a great deal of knowledge in this area, and look forward to the growth of this new brand.
